Toni Travalent

Toni Travalent has provided guidance and inspiration in video production to elementary students for the past decade. She also scheduled video programs for UMKC's television station. Under her direction, her students researched, wrote scripts and performed in the first interactive television show for Time Warner Cable. After entering a national student video contest, her students earned the Communicator Award for their video work. Her students' productions have won numerous awards at the KAN Film Festival for the past several years.



Rebecca Palmer

Becky has directed her middle school students to nationally recognized award winning video news features. Rebecca has been awarded grants to integrate video production into her curriculum for gifted students. She currently facilitates a highly successful broadcast video club at the middle school. Rebecca has also been recognized as Teacher of the Year for Pleasant Hill School District.



Barbara Noble

Barbara is an Emmy nominated producer for a Community Outreach Televised Movie Program. Last year, her elementary students won grand prize for their video on electrical safety in a contest sponsored by Time Warner. She has also been awarded grant money to create a video production studio at school. Barbara was also a finalist in the Time Warner Crystal Apple Teaching Award contest this past year. She is also listed in the 2004-05 Whos Who Among Americas Teachers.
